Volunteers Help Out at Pathways to Education

Our summer volunteers at Pathways to Education high school tutoring program.

For the last several years Student Open Circles has organized teams of volunteers at the Pathways to Education Program at North Hamilton Community Health Program. The volunteers provide homework help for the the high school students who attend each week and inspire them to consider post-secondary education. Some of the Pathways program graduates are now McMaster students themselves!

This coming year we will have two weekly groups at the program. Here's what the staff at Health Centre said about our volunteers:

“This year’s group of Student Open Circles volunteers has been excellent and highly engaged. They are an exceptional and reliable group and are among our best volunteers. We look forward to each day they are going to be here.”
