An Evening at the Planetarium
Student Open Circles invites you to a show at the W.J. McCallion Planetarium at McMaster University, hosted by Rob Cockcroft, Student Director of the Planetarium. You will also hear stories from students about how their involvement affected them, and you’ll have a chance to interact with current students and our board of directors at the reception after the event. The event is free and will not include a financial appeal.

Directions to the Planetarium
McMaster University, Burke Science Building (BSB) room B149
Via Main Street West:
- Turn off Main Street West onto University Avenue.
- You will pass a parking kiosk on your left. Depending on the time of day you may be able to ask for directions, and may be required to pay.
- At the stop sign, turn left onto College Crescent.
- Past the Mohawk-McMaster Health Sciences Building on your left, turn left into the parking lot.
Via Sterling Avenue:
- Continue into campus along Sterling Avenue.
- You will pass a parking kiosk on your left. Depending on the time of day you may be able to ask for directions, and may be required to pay.
- To enter the parking lot visible on your right, turn right after the parking kiosk and follow the road signs.
Once inside the main entrance the Burke Science Building (BSB), walk up the flight of stairs, across the foyer and a little way down the corridor directly ahead. On the right is a double set of doors leading to stairs. Go down the stairs, exiting into the corridor through another set of double doors, and then making a left. The planetarium is your left in the corner.

Is there any provision for disbled. Two sets of stairs is daunting for me asI use a walker and cane.

As well, there is space for one wheelchair in the planetarium.
